Building Rebar Cages

Lots of Loops to Build...

These are #3's that were formed using a conduit bending tool.

(Yea I know - shame on me but it did not hurt the tool in any way...)

Loops can also be bent around a piece of pipe of appropriate radius but I found

the conduit bender to be easier & more consistent since it has alignment markings.

1st Rebar Cage Assy in Progress..

This cage is for the LM470.

Dropping the LM470 Cage into Place for a Test Fit...

LM470 Cage Placed and Supported on Bricks.

W51 Cage in Progress.

This was fabricated using same size bars but with single verticals and wider spaced loops.

W51 Cage Complete and Placed.

MA770 Cage

Fabricated Similar to the W51 but Without Provisions for the Houst Support.
